Most of the market is not about that All the can't even get a job to work.See are we adding a value to any system or any thing which is very important it is important. Don't go on trends understand your needs see all the students not gonna get the big packages so I will suggest do the career on your expertise not on yourpassion trendsand driven by anyone Don't forget what is your expertise

    I dont want to look like dooms day predictor but AI in near short to mid term will disrupt job market. Infact job losses due to AI already happening..in many sectors including IT ..its simple maths for if AI even helps increase productivity of one resource by 100 percentage then you need half the resources than earlier unless their twice the demand in market..so if investors and Board members and top leaders of the company decide to slash workforce they can ..it all depends on morality of the leaders if its just returns then we will see mass layoffs if it’s compassionate and empathetic thinking from the leaders then less job losses would happens..while in long term we will job market being shifted towards highly skilled individuals ..as basic stuff would be automated..more new jobs would be in high skilled AI space ..there are some
    Industries and roles which are relatively safer ..so important point is everyone has to upskill learn to leverage AI ..improve soft skills like emotional intelligence which can not be yet replaced by AI..look for jobs which are less affected by this AI revolution devolop those skills..eventually equilibrium will come with AI integrated part if our life..with our role being moderators than executor’s..

    Using AI, we can be 10x efficient, thus one engineer can handle work of 3-4 people. it is a huge barrier to entry for freshers and also now the companies will need lesser manpower.
