   The Audi courtesy car I have at the moment has assisted lane control; the car steering itself back into the centre of a lane is a strange and interesting experience.

    Really appreciate this report. As someone who drove around everyday, and carries (android) smartphone for the whole day, am quite happy to get tech info on cars. Would not get a new car in the next couple years, but, I'm hoping the current trend of syncing your car with your phone would keep on going.
    Volvo's digital key is interesting, maybe they should add fingerprint support on it.

    You kinda forgot that Infiniti has tech that will prevent you from backing into anything or from going into someone in your blind spot while driving, and they were the first to bring the 360-degree camera system to market.

    My thoughts on all these.
    I see many problems with that Volvo smartphone app key. What if you get hacked? Someone will easily find your car and steal it. What if your battery dies? The real fob is at home while your phone is flashing the 2% battery screen. And sharing all that online with other family members? Raises more problems.

    All that bird eye view stuff for car backing up, i don't like it. All you need it rear backup. And I like how when you rotate the camera on the BMW, it shows a massive box of what you are doing right where you need to see XD XD

    Honda, right "blind spot" camera, if you can't move your head to the right to check your actual mirror, then you shouldn't drive. Can't always rely on the $1 camera either, covered in snow, rain, fogged up, will make it hard ultimately making you use your poor neck muscles to use a mirror and properly shoulder check.

    What car had the 14 miles of electric range? Volvo? Anyways, stupid. Just completely useless amount of range. It'll be even less than that because you may drive uphill a little, have added weight, and be in slower traffic.

    BMW hand gesture thing is pretty cool, tried it at the Toronto Auto Show but doesn't always respond correctly (or at all) especially if you're sitting in a different seat.

    I honestly don't see these cars lasting more than 10 years – at the most! Sure, electricity is the future, but do they really expect people to pay $50 000 every ~5 years? Anyone else agree?
