People don't live to work, they work to live. common sense is missing. The guest is brilliant at his place but he contradicted his own points while talking about work-life balance.a guy gets 2lakhs every month because he earned it, he/she worked hard to clear interviews and gathered experience over the years. He is comparing armymen and doctors with IT employees!! strange!! a doctor willingly does his practice and an armyman knows the clause before he joined the force, he sacrifices his family, friends and comfortable life to serve the nation. That's why we respect them, it is out of choice not out of compulsion. Whereas an IT employee join a company to work for a limited time and live his/her life. But after joining if someone makes them to work beyond office hours then it's unfair and not ethical. It is also a type of extorsion. Btw except this the podcast was a good one.

Although you didn't agree with his answer of work life balance. Still you didn't argue. Very well behaved. Ankit also needs to understand your perspective, he was very adamant about his point of view, I hope if he could understand that everyone is not in the same situation of work life balance, sometimes people genuinely struggle because of people like Ankit who knows politics but innocent kids don't.
These innocent kids new to culture need someone who can genuinely understand them and support, that is where I see Ajay you understanding their POV.
It would've been great if Ankit had accepted the other side of work life balance where people genuinely struggle because of poor management planning
