Where are iPhones manufactured?
iPhones are primarily manufactured in China, with the majority of assembly taking place in massive facilities like the one in Zhengzhou, often referred to as "iPhone City."
However, the components that make up an iPhone come from all over the world, including the USA, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan.
Apple has also started diversifying its production, with some iPhones now being assembled in India. While the design and innovation originate in the United States, the large-scale manufacturing ecosystem in China makes it the hub for iPhone production.
The estimated production cost (in China) for an iPhone 15 Pro Max ranges between $415 and $650. This includes expenses for components like the display, processor, camera system, and labor/assembly.
Apple typically sells iPhones at a significant markup. For instance, the iPhone 15 Pro Max retails for around $1,099 in the US, which means the markup can be over 70%.
The Daniel Hechter designer jacket I am wearing has a tag on it that says: MADE IN CHINA. Daniel Hechter is a French label. So, why are we surprised about these "luxury" brands?

not for the item itself I mean it’s obvious that this bag didn’t cost 38000 try selling the bag without the brand no one is going even to give you half what it cost out of the factory btw I think the original video mentioned that it cost around 1400 usd

I sold a ton of Adidas products in Canada. Through some contacts I got a hold of their primary suppliers price list. It was a picture catalogue with products I was familiar with just without the three stripes and branding. Adding those things would be about 10-15 cents a garment. A shirt that had a MSRP of $40 Canadian, cost $1.05US (at the time the Canadian dollar was actually higher). And that was a catalogue price of 10,000 pieces. At 250,000 it was 0.81 which i’m sure is Adidas’s price.

Nice. You criticized their 'maths' and brought no proof whatsoever. You could have gotten a few products and break down the prices but no. Very poor journalism. Maybe that actually wasn't journalism at all. In the end people will still believe what the Chinese influencers are saying because, even if they exaggerate things, they actually broke down prices. You didn't because you don't want to show the big markup and get lawsuits from some brands…

Yup, check your Lululemon, made in China. And very expensive but low quality just relying on name brands and celebrities who are wearing it. That’s why I always check the tag where’s it made. If it says imported that’s definitely China. When you wash your clothes from China it shrinks compared to others like India, Vietnam, Cambodia, Ethiopia. So make sure you check the tags. Even German brands are made from China. I bought Villeroy and Boch when it arrived made in China. I forgot to check where it was manufactured. Big price difference too, should’ve known it.

I would never pay that much for a bag period. People are paying for the name to show off. This could deteriorate business relationships immediately from wanting to work with China in the future. China's playing a weird game right now. You're not supposed to go around the sellers back and do that ever.
