   Divergances and support and resistance ALONG WITH NEWS.
   If nobody's buying, it doesn't matter what your indicator says. Never fight the trend.

   The only possible candlestick pattern that actually can be taken somewhat seriously is a double top or double bottom. But it's not the pattern that you should pay attention to. It's the fact that you found solid support or solid resistance, and that's pretty much it. It isn't really a go to do anything It's just something you should pay attention to.

   divergences are the only technical analysis you need now that doesn't guarantee where price will go it just simply shows you that either an up trend or a down trend is weakening or strengthening that's it what will happen no one can know. The only thing you can tell is if buying pressure or selling pressure is slowing down, etc.. fundamentals are everything!

   Technical analysis is drawing arrows in different directions to arrive to the conclusion that the univariate timeseries that you are looking at could go up or down. That's it. Nothing more. I don't know why this is still a "discipline". You can't use this to make money, and you don't need to be very smart to see it.

    Thank you so much for this video. This has really helped me solidify something I have been thinking about for a few weeks. I’m a new trader and in the middle of a swing trading course on a platform everyone has heard of. I am trying to get all of the solid, basic info I can, and skip any BS. I’m currently slogging through the section on candlestick patterns and listening to someone drone on about “shooting stars” and “hammer and tongs”, etc. If this stuff really works, we could quantify them and describe them using the language of mathematics, not the language of voodoo, ffs. Once again, thank you! ❤

    I profitably use RSI and support/resistance on the long term to decide when a stock on an uptrend or downtrend will eventually stop. That works. HOWEVER I find it doesn't work well on the market, which makes sense, since the market is now driven by AAPL and NVDA. And NVDA has big moves based on news, sentiment, feelings, conspiracy theories. Not a predictable pattern

    I just got into watching stock analysis videos and when I of that Fibonacci shit, it sounded like some sort sacred geometry found in lots of things in the world allegedly. And I can find it in the candles that have infinite configurations but it can still act as a North Star 🤔

    I've been a successful mid-term trader for 15 years, relying solely on moving averages. My trades typically last from one month to a year.

    Most markets are manipulated in such ways that they become impossible to analyze and the institutions ensures that all new traders will get smashed. My advice. Have a bias, place your order. Come back a week later.

    people who still dont understand about currency strenght, ghost moves and random distribution…just by understanding this you would instantly win. Forex for example is the most predictable market. And still all the traders lose. Thats madness. And kinda funny 😅

    I met a lot of "technical analysts" as a roulette dealer. A lot of them believed they were winners, but the drop box told a different story.
