    When we name, cars and vacuums and dishwashers. What we are saying subconsciously and even consciously is that machines have more value than people. We are assigning all the humanity to a machine then we are taking that away from humans.

    I really need one of these robots please help me. I need home care as a bedridden 66 year old woman. I can barely walk I have a bad back
    My husband works and is gone all day long leaving me lonely all alone and depressed.

    To save human jobs and fund the social security system, assign a social security number to every robot when it is manufactured. If the robot replaces 3 humans, it’s owner pays what 3 humans would have paid in S.S. payments. This should include self-driving trucks and existing robots in factories assembly lines.

    If we are to take anything from science fiction, we tend to treat anything robotic as servants. So treating them with respect may be a difficult task, until you them to android status, and give them the ability to show signs of life. If we expect empathy from the human population, towards robots, then we must teach the populous from the onset, to treat these robots with a bit of respect, because they are not just your phone. But I really think it won’t happen until we have robots that will show facial expressions, talk with normal conversations, and wind up being an integral part of our lives.

    Both, a bluetooth robot for music is dumb. We have small speakers and earbuds. We dont need a $1k bluetooth speaker we have to make room for or buy a seat for etc..
