AMD Radeon should just ban the power connector until new, better designed power connector gets released. They mocked that connector and ex AMD GM even once said they're not going to use it because they 'don't want to blame users for issues they have', and they wont use it until the issue is resolved and general sentiment toward the connector is good among customers – which even today, everyone is still not happy about that flamethrower connector. These inconsistency is dangerous for the users, and probably will ruin the RX9000 party, and they should at least ENFORCE the board partner to NOT use this plug

Have to keep in mind that if you want to avoid the 12V power connector, you can't buy the higher tier ASrock or Sapphire cards as they use the 12V connector instead.

AGAIN useless data. the only data point that matters is the COST PER MONTH you get out of your card between upgrades assuming it does your minimum requirements for your personal use case. I would love to see that data based on a minimum requirement of 144fps in 1440p (my personal req) and how long the GPUs are able to do that over time on popular games before requiring an upgrade, Nvidia in my experience has always been the best duration value proposition. It's an investment and needs to be looked at as such. You invest in the GPU and get ur minimum personal requirements for your use case (mine is 144fps at 1440p) for as long as possible and the cost per month you get out of said card being as low as possible before next upgrade is the goal.

1 rop is reported as 8 in software because more is more better? Either way both is true, that 1 ROP is missing and that software shows as if it was missing 8.

at this point, if they can launch a product that people can buy, that is complete and doesn't catch fire. it will be seen as a extremely sucessful launch. meanwhile a sucessful launch will still be if 2 of those 3 things are true.
