   @acidicbuble7299 I can dream, that people would band together and do the right things for long term gains and positive future outcomes, unfortunately most people are insufferable greedy NPCs that want instant gratification, a propensity for self destruction and extremely short memories but I can dream that this isnt true and hope one day we'll finally open our eyes

    I hope nintendo isn't used as a lead in for everyone to just raise prices. I think it depends on what they announce for preorders here. But if they don't raise price of console it won't give others the excuse to do it as quickly

    2:25 The 5070s are the ONLY card that's been anywhere near MSRP. MSI had them in stock for $550 all last week, and they were available for MSRP this morning on Newegg for the Gigabyte Windforce. If you constantly watch PCPartpicker the 5070s are constantly being restocked at or near MSRP. Something that can't be said about the 9070s. Turns out AMD's MSRPs were far faker than Nvidia's.

    I see this as a positive anyway, if there was no tariff we would be here complaining about lousy quality, disappointing component's but then still begrudgingly going out and buying whatever crap further supporting the bs from these manufacture's, now with the rising cost, people will not be able to buy new cheap disposable component's every 6 mo to a year, and hopefully will seek out and demand better quality, and with ground already being broken for new manufacturing plants, given adequate time frame should provide us with viable alternatives, foreign parts will have to be premium quality to justify the cost, as it should be, less E-waste, higher quality, more options, and maybe we'll even have a chance to work for these companies right here at home besides some stuffy office building drowning in smug bantering of know it all coders lmao

    I managed to get a 9070XT at RRP here in the UK. Insanely lucky this time round I guess? I cannot believe how difficult/expensive this hobby is becoming. Keep up the accurate reporting Paul, love your channel.

    I realize this is your livelihood Paul, but there are many factors at play in the trade situation.
    More ruinous to the economy was the twenty to thirty percent inflation of the last four years. The current administration is at least trying to solve problems. They may or may not succeed, but at least they are not giving tax-payer funds to Nvidia to 'build factories'.

    Stop with the Lefty tariffs garbage talk. If you want to see the big picture, do some research. Over 50 countries have now come to the table to eliminate tariffs and Taiwan is one of them. Get a grip on what the big picture is.

    Just to be clear, Nvidia and AMD, along with every other part of the creation of GPU's claimed that they were raising the prices of their products BEFORE the tariffs to get ahead of the higher price. Now they are raiseing the prices of their products AFTER the tariffs as well. The tariffs are crap, but once again the companies themselves are going out of their way to screw over the customer base and milk every last cent while still making absurdly large profits.

    While the GRE version seems to be a decent purchase (it basically is the 7900 GRE all over again), I just don't like tha naming of it, nor the implications to the 9060/9060XT. Meaning both 60 cards will be under powered and have at most 12 GB of VRAM or they will repest the 7600/XT shenanigans in which the XT is just the 16GB variant version of the regular model… Man, the 9070/9070XT are such good cards that it feels like a gut punch having the 60 cards from both AMD and NVIDIA being such downers. It feels like the improvements sre being reserved for the mid to high end only…
